What this store saves

Checkout records your name, mobile number, optional email, delivery address, order notes and selected products. If you order prescription lenses, the entered prescription is saved with that order for fulfilment.

On your device

Your bag, including any entered lens prescription, is kept in browser local storage so it remains available when you return. Your most recent private tracking code is also saved on this device. Clear your browser’s site data to remove these details, particularly on a shared device.

Order access

Store administrators can access delivery details and prescriptions. Anyone with your private tracking code can see order progress and item details. Keep that code private. Administrator sign-in uses a session cookie.

Payments & third parties

This version supports cash on delivery only and does not collect card details. There are no advertising trackers or automatic marketing emails. A courier may need delivery details when an order is fulfilled.

Before launch

The store owner must publish a support contact and retention policy before accepting live orders. Use fictional customer information while testing the sample store.
